On the first night, guests will find themselves captivated at the Arctic Aurora viewing camp located half an hour away from Yellowknife, equipped with cozy cabin, traditional tent tipis and 360 see through glass tipi's. At your own pace guest can move around the camp site whilst enjoying the beauty of aurora coming from above. The adventure continues on the second night at a picturesque site by Great Slave Lake, North America's deepest lake, where guests can further immerse themselves in the aurora experience from inviting ice fishing cabins. This unique blend of awe-inspiring natural phenomena and comfortable aurora viewing facilities ensures an unforgettable Arctic aurora adventure that lingers in the memory of all who attend. Comfortable daily transportation to and from hotel to camps is provided. At the end of each experience guest will be dropped off to hotel.

Day 1: Aurora Viewing at Arctic Aurora Camp

Your tour start with hotel pick up's and drive to aurora viewing camp. Aurora viewing experience at Arctic Aurora Camp provides an unforgettable adventure amidst the beauty of the Northern Lights. Situated in a prime auroral location, the camp offers ideal observation settings. Guests are greeted by knowledgeable guides who provide transportation and insights about the aurora. A safety orientation precedes the experience, and amenities like cozy cabin, traditional canvas tipis and modern glass tipis create a welcoming atmosphere. Complimentary soup and hot beverages are available as you wait for the lights. The experience concludes with a return to your hotel, filled with memories of a magical night.

Day 2: Aurora Viewing at Arctic Ice Fishing Camp

Hotel pick up's followed drive on ice roads to secluded Arctic Fishing cabins set on Great Slave lake. On the way guide will share information about your second night experiences and safety orientation follows upon arrival. Explore the camp at own pace or relax in comfortable cabins whilst waiting for aurora magic to mesmerize you on ice. 

Complimentary hot soup and beverages will be provided. At the end of memorable night hotel drop off's follow.
